I don't think it's a surprise to anyone that New York City has some epic vegan food. I have so many favorites, but for this list I am going to list those I stopped by on my recent trip to NYC. Here are the best restaurants (and what to order) in NYC: 👇
Here you can choose from 3 different vegan options to get a slice of pizza or you could order a full pizza from an extensive vegan menu for pick up. We have tried the T. Hanks in the past and it is amazing. This time we just grabbed a slice of spicy cheese.
I've mentioned this place to so many people because everything here is incredible. If you are looking for a classic New York deli sandwich but vegan, look no further. Their vegan lox bagel was insane - you seriously feel like you're eating smoked salmon.
I love this spot because they are serious about making coffee. Thats all they do, there aren't even baked goods here. I got the turmeric latte with macadamia milk. They have tons of plant based milk options.
This is a 100& plant-based cafe in Brooklyn with a HUGE bakery. We got the tofu scramble breakfasts and some baked goods like their donut and poptart - everything was delicious!

My favorite vegan bakery on the planet has the most delicious food. We love the BEC (Bacon & Egg Croissant) because it comes with the best plant-based bacon and the croissant is so flaky. And pick anything from their bakery and you won't be disappointed - I recommend the cinnamon roll.
This is a local roaster and coffee shop in Brooklyn. They have cool drinks like lavender lattes and tons of plant milk options.
This is an ice cream store with an entire vegan menu. Although it's not my favorite vegan ice cream in the world, they do have a huge list of flavors to try.
