Homemade Fruit Jam

Making your own homemade fruit jam is insanely easy, satisfying, and honestly tastes better than anything you’ll find at the store. Whether you're spreading it on toast, swirling it into oatmeal, or spooning it straight from the jar, this jam recipe is my go-to.

Ingredients:
2 lbs frozen fruit
1/2 cup maple syrup
1/2 cup chia seeds
Instructions:
Add your frozen fruit to a medium-sized pot and drizzle maple syrup over the top. Pop the lid on.
Cook over medium heat for about 10–12 minutes, or until the fruit is juicy and bubbling. Stir occasionally so nothing sticks.
Once the fruit is soft, smash it up with a potato masher until you’ve got a nice, jammy texture.
Remove from heat and stir in the chia seeds until everything is evenly combined.
Let the jam cool for 30 minutes - it will thicken as it sits!
Spoon into clean jars, seal with lids, and store in the fridge. *If you'd like to check out my other favorite recipes, they are all on my blog here.
