February in Richmond is a time for cozy cafés and walking around museums. Whether you’re a local looking for fun in the winter or a visitor ready to explore, this one-day itinerary will give you the perfect mix of history, art, and delicious food. From strolling through the VMFA to enjoying a cozy bowl of noodles, this guide will show you how to make the most of a chilly day in RVA.
Start your day with a cup of coffee from Paix Coffee.
This is a small batch coffee shop where they roast their own beans and have interesting flavors and lattes.

Head over to the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts (VMFA) to check out some art.
VMFA is huge and it's free. Grab a map, pick out a section you're interested in, and start admiring the incredible collection we have here in Richmond. Some of my favorites are the Art Deco furnishings, Indigenous Art and Egyptian art.

Stop in to admire some real vintage clothing at Halcyon Vintage Clothing.
I love this shop because it is unique in the fact that it carries actual clothing from the 1920s-1990s. And it is all curated perfectly with only the best picks. They also repair vintage clothes. Window shopping and trying on clothes here is a real treat!
